GO GIANTS GO of course!!

[marquee]4 DOWN, 12 MORE TO GO!
[/marquee]

Giants SWEEP first series against the Bruins and will most likely play the Chiefs in the second round. They will not get home advantage as the Chiefs had a better record as them and the Giants are the 3rd seed in the West.

Kal Tire WHL Western Conference Quarter-Final

VAN (4) vs CWK (0)

1. CWK (1) at VAN (2)

2. CWK (2) at VAN (3)

3. VAN (4) at CWK (3)

4. VAN (2) at CWK (1)

Vancouver Giants win series 4-0

2 Goals by Repik. On both he snuck behind the D and used his speed to break away from the defence. Great game and I think that the Giants are just too much to handle for the Bruins

My buddy who's a Chilliwack player/prospect will be butting heads with me as I cheer for my Giants. Repik all the way! I miss the good old days of Brule vs Bourdon.

When did they ever play each other outside of 1 game in the memorial cup?

That's sort of what I was talking about... Missing the old Giants lineup?

I don't think Brule will have much of a career in the NHL. In the WHL he was able to use his speed to go around defenceman but now in the Pros he can't because the D have more mobility abd speed. Milan Lucic will have the better career even though most people said that he lacks footspeed and lacks the stride of an NHLer but I think that this year he has improved both of those and it doesn't hurt that he's one of the biggest guys on the ice. Now only if the Giants had Lucic this year, we would be even better than we are right now.

Giants need some secondary scoring from Kane and Pierro-Zabotel to be successful past the first round.

GIANTS WON THE GAME LAST NIGHT!!

Giants have a chance to take the series after a long game which went into triple overtime. CUNNINGHAM scored the winner with about a minute left in the 3rd OT period (final score was 4-3). Now the Giants lead the series 3-0 and will play again TODAY @ 7 in Chilliwack. Game is on Shaw TV (channel 4 on basic cable) and also on CKNW NEWS 980.

Get the brooms out. But wait we are most likely playing Spokane in the 2nd round and they are a very strong team with lots of scoring.
